- 8 out of 10 Mexican internet users have done an online purchase of services or products in the last year. The most purchased categories are Travel, Events followed by Electronic and Fashion, it’s important to mention that 70% of the people that purchase on the travel category have done it at least one time in the last year.
- Talking about the devices used while doing research before the purchase, the Smartphone gains relevance and overcomes the desktop computer. Still the 54% of purchases are done through a desktop computer.
- Regarding the payment methods online, credit card is the most used followed by debit card and Paypal. For the non-banked people, the payment on the physical and convenience store become more relevant.
