We are looking for a talented and ambitious senior data strategist, who is passionate about helping complex global companies improve their business through data. Specifically, this role offers a great opportunity to design and activate data strategies, with focus on digital, that help clients improve business results by unlocking the power of their data (both business data and digital assets data).
As a Senior Data Strategist, you will be responsible for
Designing and developing actionable data strategies – business requirements gathering, business pain points identification, initiatives / use cases definition and detailing, KPIs definition, organizational and operational change definition. Understanding technological challenges and needs to ensure viability of business solutions Translating business goals into KPIs, performing analytically rigorous data interpretation and proposing next actions. Leading data strategy projects, playing a key role in all phases: business problem understanding, initiatives identification and definition based on analysis, initiatives viability study, transformation roadmapping, client capability building and change management Showcase expertise in data strategy topics: data activation use cases (visualization, marketing campaigns activation, operations processes automation…), data science applicability for different use cases (e.g., leveraging churn modelling for churn reduction strategies), data governance and data organization Understand technical data concepts to ensure business requirements meet technical viability: data infrastructure, data model definition & ETL understanding, modelling (data science), etc. Participating in E2E data initiatives implementation projects, contributing to the business strategy and defining clear needs and functional requirements for technology and technical data teams Communicating and working effectively with technology teams: Data Science, Data Engineering, DevOps and back/front-end Moving beyond top-line data to get into the heart of the business problem, including looking for contextual data from other sources and asking the right questions to stakeholders outside the platform. Ensuring data robustness and consistency through audits. Acting as a subject-matter expert on data strategy as it relates to: marketing performance (including CRO), multi-channel marketing strategy, business operations digital strategy and usage of artificial intelligence (from business perspective) Working proficiently with PPT and Excel Taking part in international projects, which will be carried out in English.
But you will also be able to
Communicate effective business messages supported on analytical insights, whether orally, in writing or through face2face/online presentations. Solve complex problems from scratch, embedding a data perspective Identify new business opportunities and generate long-term relationships with our clients Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders effectively, leading implementation teams and client relationships and communicating project goals and project status accordingly.
+2-5 years of experience in related positions Evidence of working with & managing complex maps of stakeholders and coordinating the effort of diverse groups of team peers. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated competency with data projects both from a strategy perspective and from execution of business side of data projects implementations, ideally having worked alongside data scientists / engineers before Strong communication, interpersonal and data visualisation skills, with experience creating Executive level presentations and reports. Self-motivated; keen to take proactive action and accountability for assigned or self-started tasks. Proficiency level in Spanish and English, and other language is a plus.
